Assistant Neja Berger
Neja Berger (1996) is a PhD candidate in Communication Studies and Assistant Researcher at the Social Communication Research Centre at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. She holds an MA in Video and New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and a BA in Film and Television Editing from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television.
She is the author of numerous journalistic texts and essays, former co-editor of the online magazine Disenz, host of the Tactics& Practice podcast (produced by Aksioma – Institute for Contemporary Art Ljubljana) and essayist at the Culture and Humanities Department of Radio Študent. She previously worked as a data journalist at the investigative reporting outlet Pod črto. Her current research focuses on the social dimensions of technological developments, currently on political communication and propaganda on social media platforms.
