Assistant Professor Luka Kronegger, PhD in Social Informatics.

Dr Luka Kronegger holds a PhD in Social Informatics and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, as well as a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Sociological Research, KU Leuven.
His current research spans computational social science, social network analysis, and quantitative methods in the social sciences. He has published extensively in scientific journals on topics such as social networks, scientific collaboration, and computational social science. His selected works include studies published in Quality & Quantity, Scientometrics, and other prominent journals.
Dr Kronegger has co-organised multiple international scientific conferences and workshops, and has delivered invited lectures at various international events. His research aims to make sense of social phenomena by analysing data to visualise and understand the dynamics of human interactions and institutional networks. Dr Kronegger combines his experience in research, teaching, and project management to contribute to the fields of social informatics and sociology.
